The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has been at the forefront of organising exhibitions since 1979 and today it hosts more than 70 exhibitions and events every year. In November 1999 it undertook management of Airport Expo Dubai, a new exhibition complex with more than 23,000 square metres of exhibition space. The exhibition business has had a relatively humble beginning with Hall 1, which was converted in 1995 to become a prestigious conferencing facility. To meet the overwhelming demand from exhibitors and exhibition organizers, extra halls were added on to existing ones: Hall 2 in 1985, Hall 3 in 1993, Hall 4 in 1995, Halls 5, 6 & 7 in 1996 and Hall 8 in 2001.
These expansions allowed the Dubai World Trade Centre to remain at the forefront of the Middle East exhibition industry. The exhibition halls comprise a total exhibition area of 42,000 square meters of gross exhibition space which, when coupled with the facilities at Airport Expo Dubai, a new exhibition complex managed by DWTC which opened in November 1999 and provides 23,000 square metres of exhibition space, reinforces Dubai as the region抯 premier venue for international exhibitions and conferences. This expansion further reinforces the Dubai World Trade Centre Exhibition Complex as the largest international standard exhibition centre in the region. The exhibitions staged in these halls serve the growing needs of the regional business community. International exhibitions featuring health, oil and gas, food, information technology, construction, interior design, furniture and textiles, fashion, electricity, consumer electronics, cable & satellite, education and motor vehicles are staged annually. These exhibitions are complemented by programmes of company presentations, conferences and seminars which address issues related to each show. The Dubai World Trade Centre promotes these events worldwide through a well-planned marketing and communication strategy that comprises campaigns designed to ensure maximum media coverage. Exhibition Complex
Dubai World Trade Centre Exhibition Complex is the leading exhibition centre in the Middle East where on average of more than 70 exhibitions and events are held every year. Eight interconnected, air-conditioned exhibition halls are available for lease either on an individual basis or in any combination of more than one hall. The gross space is 33,179 square meters, all on one level for easy access.
Location: DWTC is ideally located on Sheikh Zayed Road and is only 15 minutes drive from the city centre, 90 minutes from Abu Dhabi, 30 minutes from Jebel Ali Free Zone, 15 minutes from Sharjah and 10 minutes from Port Rashid and Dubai International Airport. Click here for premises map.
Facilities for visitors:
- Catering outlets: Located in Hall 3, Marhaba restaurant offers seating for 150 people. In addition, two coffee shops and four snack bars are spread over the complex.
- Car parking: Parking space for more than 3,000 vehicles surrounds the exhibition complex.
- Banking (including 4 ATMs), post office, car hire, travel agent & shops are all located on site for the convenience of visitors and open to reflect exhibition hours.
- Business Centre: Located in the foyer of the exhibition halls. Open daily and offers meeting room facilities, secretarial services, photocopying, printing, faxing, laminating, binding, stationery, electrical accessories, courier services and mobile phone rental.
- Dubai Information: A joint stand for Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Dubai Ports Authority is located in each hall. The stand provides information on Dubai, including setting up an office, guidelines for conducting business activities and useful statistics on various industries as well as provides general information on tourism for visitors.

- Operations: Our Operations Department will lead you through all the necessary operational procedures required to stage an event or exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre.
- Telecommunications: Local, national and international telephone and facsimile connections are provided through a highly sophisticated PABX system. Special requirements such as DEL, point of sale, internet access, leased lines and ISDN can also be met.
- Housekeeping: 24-hour cleaning services are provided along with every leased exhibition hall.
- Engineering: Fully qualified engineering staff are available 24 hours to assist with any technical requirements.
- Security: 24-hour security is provided with the lease of an exhibition hall.
- Catering: The DWTC Food and Beverage Department offers a wide array of menu items and can cater to your stand and room requirements, banquets, weddings and special events.
- Administrative assistance: Our Administration Department can provide assistance in obtaining the necessary permissions and licenses required to hold an exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
- Stand fitting: An on-site stand fitting company provides electrical services, display material, carpets, furniture and stand building services.
- Al Multaqua: Situated between Hall 4 & 5A, this multi purpose ballroom features elegant draperies, plush carpeting and crystal chandeliers. Used for banquets, art exhibitions, weddings and special events, Al Multaqua can accommodate over 650 guests.
- Al Wasl Press Conference Centre: Located in the luxurious Al Wasl foyer, the Al Wasl Press Conference Centre uses state-of-the-art conferencing equipment to ensure your seminar or press conference is an impressive demonstration. This tastefully decorated room seats up to 50 people.
- Meeting rooms: Several meeting rooms varying from 9 - 115 square meters are available for hire on a daily basis.
